In Deuce to Seven Triple Draw Poker, the objective is to make the lowest possible hand. The best hand is 2-3-4-5-7, with no straights or flushes. Aces are always high, and straights and flushes count against you.
The game is typically played with a fixed-limit betting structure. Each player is dealt five cards face down. There are four rounds of betting and three draws where players can discard and replace cards in an attempt to improve their hands.
There are four betting rounds: one before the first draw, one after the first draw, one after the second draw, and one after the third draw. The betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer and proceeds clockwise.
In each draw round, players can choose to discard any number of cards from their hand and receive the same number of new cards from the deck. Players may also choose to "stand pat" (not draw any new cards) if they are satisfied with their hand.
After the third draw and the final betting round, the remaining players reveal their hands. The player with the lowest hand wins the pot. If there is a tie, the pot is split among the winners.
